Ansonia Clock Co. New York, C.1900, "NAVY", 1-day novelty clock, consisting of a clock in an anchor, hung from block & tackle, suspended from the top of tow oars and a grappling hook, the whole with a trefoil of rope as a base.
CONDITION:
although the 'flag' is lacking, this is a good old clock. New ones are coming in from China and the differences are hard to detect. For info, see Tran Ly's Ansonia book, figure 2209, current price guide is $1000, which is probably a bit over the top. Ht 12.5"
